VISHWAKARMA POOJA
BE YOND WORK
It is a day of celebration for Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect who constructed the holy city of Dwarka. He is also called the
divine carpenter and is credited with Sthapatya Veda, the science of mechanics and architecture. The festival is observed in
factories and industrial areas, often on the shop floor by the engineering, architectural community, artisans, craftsmen etc. They
pray for a better future, safe working conditions and success in their respective fields. In Lumax, this day is celebrated as Engineers
Day where all the employees take part in Poojan Ceremony followed by sweet distribution. Often employees do "Shram Daan"
